PlacesBoyana Church Included in UNESCO’s World Cultural and Nature Heritage Program. Built in three stages in the 11th 13th , and 19th c.c., the church has a number of particularly valuable murals. The mural dating from 1259 represents a unique record of medieval Bulgarian painting. Boyana church is situated in the Sofia’s quarter with the same name.    |
